Career
Senior Manager of Integrated Marketing
Full-Time • Remote
Â
Background
The Subtle Energy Funders Collective (SEFC) is a philanthropic collective working to bring evidence-based biofield (energy) healing and other consciousness-based approaches to health into mainstream healthcare and culture. We operate using a systems-change approach: funding rigorous scientific research at leading universities, catalyzing global communities of researchers and healing practitioners, creating media and educational platforms that build public awareness to the science and stories of energy healing, and expanding access to healing experiences.
Our public-facing awareness initiative, Phenomena – Exploring the Science and Stories of Energy Healing, has achieved rapid early traction: a resource hub website (PhenomenaHealing.com), a provocative podcast, fast-growing social media channels, a documentary film series releasing in winter 2026, and a growing base of email subscribers and community members. We are now investing to turn this early momentum into a large, engaged community and a growing movement to help catalyze a shift in consciousness and healing, in order to reduce pain and suffering and increase flourishing.
The Opportunity
The SEFC seeks an experienced, entrepreneurial, Senior Manager (or similar) of Integrated Marketing to lead our awareness-building and movement-building efforts. You will own the integrated marketing strategy—and much of the hands-on execution—across Phenomena's media properties, website, partnerships, email comms, social channels, PR, and community engagement, with the goal of dramatically growing our community and expanding our impact.
This is a rare opportunity to be the marketing architect of an emerging movement at the intersection of science, health, media, and consciousness—backed by over a dozen committed philanthropic partners in the Subtle Energy Funders Collective, a growing portfolio of peer-reviewed research from institutions such as Harvard, MD Anderson Cancer Center, the University of Utah, etc., and media assets with proven audience engagement. You will have creative latitude, direct access to organizational leadership, and support from a social media manager and other resources, but you must also enjoy rolling up your sleeves and executing on things such as writing copy, shipping campaigns and digital assets, analyzing results, etc.
Key Responsibilities
Integrated Marketing Strategy & Planning
- Define and lead integrated marketing strategy across owned, earned, and paid channels.
- Create and own an annual integrated marketing and community-engagement plan across Phenomena website, email, podcast, film, social, partnerships, and research PR—with clear goals, calendars, budgets, and KPIs.
- Steward the Phenomena brand voice—credible, science-first, accessible, curious, and full of wonder.
- Iterate measurement and reporting analytics to test, learn, and continuously optimize channel mix and content strategy.
Phenomena Media: Podcast, Film & Other Content
- Lead marketing for the Phenomena Podcast, including organic, paid, and partner cross-promotion; co-manage creation of additional podcast content and seasons.
- Help build audience and community engagement in advance of a Phenomena documentary film series release anticipated in Winter 2026, and coordinate with external film marketing team to maximize documentary viewers and support conversion of audience into impact.
- Develop and market other new content to engage and grow the community, including community-generated content, external thought-leadership pieces, research summaries, monthly newsletters, etc.
Partnerships & Amplification
- Lead implementation of partnerships with aligned organizations and other channels to amplify impact and build the movement (e.g. podcast collaborations, social collaborations, online events, healer organization partnerships, platform partnerships, etc.).
Website & Email / Community Nurture
- Manage the Phenomena resource hub website (PhenomenaHealing.com): define the website roadmap, drive design clean-up/iteration, and manage ongoing content curation and email conversion optimization.
- Design and lead execution of email communications that welcome, nurture, engage, and activate PhenomenaHealing subscribers, building journeys that move audiences from awareness to engaged community members with impactful action.
- Curate online community and content experiences.
Social Media Oversight
- Lead social strategy (organic and paid) and oversee execution, ensuring channel growth, engagement, and alignment with the integrated plan.
- Develop an influencer strategy to extend reach into aligned wellness, health, science, and spirituality audiences.
Qualifications
Required
- Familiarity with, or genuine curiosity about, energy healing, biofield science, consciousness-based healing modalities, integrative medicine, or contemplative practices.
- Leadership and execution experience in integrated marketing, audience development, or communications, including experience at a senior manager or director level setting strategy and managing execution across multiple channels.
- Proven track record growing audiences and communities for media properties, consumer-facing brands, or mission-driven organizations.
- Experience developing, implementing and nurturing effective partnerships—e.g. media collaborations, cross-promotions, influencer programs, and/or co-marketing with aligned organizations.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, including the ability to translate scientific information into clear and compelling content for general audiences.
- Fluency across the modern marketing stack: email marketing/CRM, website/CMS management, SEO, organic and paid social, analytics, and campaign management. While you will have support, you are knowledgeable enough to do the work yourself, not just direct it.
- Self-starter comfortable in a lean, remote, entrepreneurial team environment—moving quickly to create structure, manage contractors, and integrate strategy and execution simultaneously.
- You work generously and collaboratively across a small team and a wider ecosystem.
Preferred
- Experience in health and wellbeing, integrative health, science communication, media/entertainment, or movement-building/advocacy organizations.
- Experience with community platforms, user-generated content, and grassroots engagement strategies.
- Experience using AI tools to substantially increase content and marketing productivity.
Position Details
- Full-time
- Location: Remote (U.S.-based preferred), with occasional travel for team gatherings and events (e.g., annual Research Conference, Partner Retreat).
- Compensation: Competitive salary and health insurance.
- Reports to Managing Director.
